I’ve known Glenn for many years, and what has always stood out to me is how genuinely he cares about people. I’ve seen his commitment to minor sports and the difference that support has made for young people and families in our community. But what I appreciate most is the way he looks out for people who may not have a strong voice — newcomers trying to find their place, families facing difficult circumstances, and those who can sometimes fall through the cracks of government services. He doesn’t just talk about building a caring community; he gets involved and helps make a difference. I’m proud to support someone who has consistently shown that compassion, community and helping others truly matter to him.

What Glenn is continuing to push for at the council table.
Continue to do what we can at the municipal level to provide and protect affordable housing.
Keep property tax increases to a minimum.
Continue to bring good paying jobs to Port Coquitlam.
Work on bringing more family doctors to Port Coquitlam.
Continue to support sports and recreation in Port Coquitlam.
Advocate for intersection and crosswalk improvements to increase pedestrian safety.
I’ll continue to advocate for an increase in the number of both seniors beds and assisted living beds in the City.
I’ll work to increase the oversight of the towing industry including the regulations they operate under and how much they can charge.
These commitments come from years of knocking on doors and coaching on the sidelines — not a spreadsheet at city hall.
The Record
A track record of getting things done for Port Coquitlam.
Helped establish a rent bank for the Tri-Cities which helps low-income families.
As a former Board Member of the Amateur Athletic Association, Glenn has been a strong advocate for the Port Coquitlam Sports Alliance.
Established the People’s Pantry Food Share Society, which feeds approximately 180 people in our community by diverting food from the landfill.
Was the catalyst behind the construction of a building that provided subsidized housing for women and families.
Was integral in bringing craft breweries to Port Coquitlam.
A strong proponent of the Downtown Strategic Plan that the City will be moving forward with soon.
Delivered the new Port Coquitlam Community Centre on time and on budget during a global pandemic.
Lowest per-capita property taxes in the Lower Mainland.
Completion of a third synthetic playing field at Gates Park.
Pushed hard for the recently opened Urgent Primary Care Centre.
Along with Dennis Marsden of Coquitlam, was one of the loudest voices in bringing the Mobile Integrated Crisis Response (MICR) program to the Coquitlam/Port Coquitlam RCMP Detachment.
Has been pushing for a covered lacrosse box for years and is thrilled to see it finally coming forward.
From new recreation facilities to healthcare access, Glenn has focused on the projects that make the biggest difference day-to-day in Port Coquitlam.

Port Coquitlam’s next General Local Election is Saturday, October 17, 2026. Here’s how and when to make your voice heard.

Polling stations will be open across Port Coquitlam. Exact hours and station details are confirmed by the City as the election approaches — use the link below to find your voting place once locations are posted.
Voting by mail ballot is also available — applications are accepted through October 2, 2026, and completed ballots must be received by 8pm on October 17.
General Voting Day polling stations will be published on the City of Port Coquitlam’s official elections page as they’re finalized.
